- Experience within an insurance company or an insurance related professional services organization that designs and implements technology and business solutions.
- Industry Knowledge: understanding of print and electronic document fulfillment and associated workflows in the insurance, health services, financial services or general print/mail industries are helpful, but not required.
- Experience working within a client facing (internal / external) consultant or professional services role.
- Experience with or knowledge of the process of working with vendors that supply.
products and solutions in a consultative solutions, services, or reseller business model.
- Innate desire to solve complex problems and to provide exceptional customer service and take initiative to be involved and have influence outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform analysis of client operational workflows, current state business-operating procedures, business rules, and supporting system requirements.
- Document business requirements outlining the solution that meets customer’s needs.
- Work closely with Product and IT teams to review business requirements, support development process, and implementation of desired solutions.
- Work closely with Project Leaders to establish project timelines and effective communication plan with clients.
- Identify project issues and risks in a timely manner and work with develop/implement appropriate mitigation and contingency plans.
- Support the development and execution of detailed test plans for various client implementations, as well as guiding clients through the user acceptance testing.
- Support the sales team through the completion of customer proposals and RFPs
and demonstrating solution capabilities to prospective clients.
- Work closely with product team to design and establish technology solutions to further support customer’s needs.
- Understand and manage operational compliance requirements as it pertains to
client data, information security, and vendor partner compliance requirements.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in a business analyst/business
systems analyst role.
- Experience or knowledge of agile software development methodology.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience using project management systems.
such as JIRA, Monday.com, Smartsheet, and Trello.
- Strong leadership skills. • Interest in working in a dynamic and high paced environment.
