Our client is a A rated specialty carrier, looking for a Business Development Manager for their TX region. This person will be responsible for promoting current and future growth and profitability through the independent agency channel.
Main responsibilities include: building and maintaining profitable producer relationships, supporting and effectively communicating with all business units, and driving profitable new business growth and strategic renewal retention.
Education, Experience, Competencies & Values
- Experience in maintaining and developing business through agency/brokers. Existing relationships is required.
- Medical Professional Liability experience is preferred, but not required. Preferred experience with Broker Relationship Management and Healthcare Industry.
- Travel Up to 50%, primarily for key client meetings (including events) and some travel to home office.
Work from home anywhere in the US (preferably in Dallas or Houston).
