Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative (Temporary or Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Woodland Hills, CA (Hybrid available after initial onboarding period)
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative for a temporary or potential temp-to-hire opportunity based in Woodland Hills, CA. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting clients with their commercial insurance needs—handling policy updates, processing renewals, issuing certificates, and delivering top-tier customer service.
After a successful onboarding period, hybrid work-from-home flexibility is available.
Key Responsibilities:

Respond to client inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and accuracy.

Process policy changes, renewals, quotes, payments, and certificates using AMS360.

Support producers with new business opportunities—gathering data, quoting, binding coverage, and coordinating carrier negotiations.

Perform detailed reviews of existing policies to ensure accurate coverage and identify opportunities for additional lines or improvements.

Address and resolve client concerns efficiently, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Review audits and policies for accuracy and coordinate necessary corrections with clients and carriers.

Maintain thorough and accurate documentation within the agency management system.
Qualifications:

Active P&C insurance license in your state.

Minimum of 1 year of commercial lines experience in account management or a similar role.

Strong working knowledge of insurance coverage, rating, and underwriting procedures.

Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.

High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Proficient in AMS360, insurance rating tools, and carrier platforms.
