Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative (Temporary or Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Woodland Hills, CA (Hybrid available after initial onboarding period)

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative for a temporary or potential temp-to-hire opportunity based in Woodland Hills, CA. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting clients with their commercial insurance needs—handling policy updates, processing renewals, issuing certificates, and delivering top-tier customer service.

After a successful onboarding period, hybrid work-from-home flexibility is available.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to client inquiries via phone and email with professionalism and accuracy.

  • Process policy changes, renewals, quotes, payments, and certificates using AMS360.

  • Support producers with new business opportunities—gathering data, quoting, binding coverage, and coordinating carrier negotiations.

  • Perform detailed reviews of existing policies to ensure accurate coverage and identify opportunities for additional lines or improvements.

  • Address and resolve client concerns efficiently, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Review audits and policies for accuracy and coordinate necessary corrections with clients and carriers.

  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation within the agency management system.


Qualifications:

  • Active P&C insurance license in your state.

  • Minimum of 1 year of commercial lines experience in account management or a similar role.

  • Strong working knowledge of insurance coverage, rating, and underwriting procedures.

  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.

  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Proficient in AMS360, insurance rating tools, and carrier platforms.
