  • This position is primarily responsible for providing accurate and professional customer service to assigned commercial customers with a book consisting primarily of technology and entrepreneurial growth-oriented companies 
  • Responsible for helping achieve department and organization revenue growth goals, through customer retention and collaboration within the department and organization
  • Maintains a positive attitude and establishes effective relationships with clients, carriers, and agency personnel
  • Complies with client service deliverable standards, including managing policy reviews, certificate requests, and endorsements
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of commercial P&C insurance exposures/rating/coverage and forms
  • Maintains confidentiality of all client information in accordance with agency privacy guidelines
  • Complies with E&O prevention/Quality Management guidelines and to meet customer service standards
  • Reviews contracts
  • Assists with mergers and acquisitions insurance processes


  • At least 18 years of age
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or equivalent preferred
  • 5-10 years retail insurance agency experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be familiar with private company mergers and acquisitions activity including interactions with venture capital and private equity
  • Experience handling accounts where major exposures and coverage lines consist of management liability, professional liability, technology E&O, and cyber.
  • Highly detail oriented
  • Candidate must be comfortable in client facing situations, renewal meetings, and presentations
