Life Underwriting Consultant – (Individual Life)
We are excited to be partnering with one of our best clients (Life carrier) who is continuing to grow and looking to add a Life Underwriting Consultant to the team. (full time remote) experienced Individual life underwriters only. * Must be individual life only *
You will select profitable risks while giving a competitive offer for the agent and proper suitability to the client. You will analyze, review and classify the new business, handle changes and reinstatements as well as trial applications. The Senior Underwriter will also get some exposure in assisting in the development of less experienced underwriters. Brokerage experience would be a plus.
Consultant level – we will be looking for candidates who have 8+ years of individual life underwriting experience and at least a 2MM limit and strong large case and substandard risk experience. Consultants will also be a referral underwriter for lesser experienced underwriters.
