Questpro is partnered with a growing TPA that is looking for a Senior Commercial Transportation Adjuster. Ideal candidates will have 5-10 years of transportation / commercial auto claims experience specific to trucking, fleet, and or public transportation.
Candidate must also have extensive experience handling complex, litigated claims. This is an opportunity to join a growing team of experienced adjusters and work from home!
Senior Commercial Transportation Adjuster Responsibilities:
- Analyze and process commercial transportation/trucking claims by investigating and gathering information to determine the exposure on the claim.
- Manage claims through well-developed action plans to an appropriate and timely resolution.
- Assess liability and resolve claims within evaluation.
- Negotiate settlement of claims up to designated authority level.
- Calculate and pay benefits due; approve and make timely claim payments, and adjustments and settles claims within designated authority level.
- Prepare necessary state filings within statutory limits.
- Manage the litigation process; ensures timely and cost-effective claims resolution.
- Coordinate the vendor referrals for additional investigation and/or litigation management.
Experience:
- 5-10 years of experience handling transportation and commercial auto claims.
- Well versed in trucking and or public transportation claim.
- Litigation experience required.
- Multistate jurisdictions and licenses are a plus.
- Ability to read and interrupt complex coverage.
- High school diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred
