Sr Life Underwriter – Job Opening
Questpro is working with a growing Life and Annuity Insurance carrier who is looking to add an experienced Individual Life Insurance Underwriter to the team.
The Life Underwriter will review and asses risk on Individual applications for Term and Whole Life business written and distributed through a captive agency sales force. Face amounts typically fall in the 250k-1MM range.
You will join a small but growing team with project work and leadership opportunities.
We are looking for candidate who have a minimum of 2-3 years of full line production Life Underwriting experience.
You will analyze, review and classify the new business, handle changes and reinstatements as well as trial applications. The Senior Underwriter will also get some exposure in assisting in the development of less experienced underwriters.

There is a preference for Industry designations such as FLMI or FALU, but this is not a requirement.
To be considered for this role you must have 2 or more years of full production underwriting of Life Insurance,a desire to learn and grow and be a team player.
Compensation will depend on underwriting experience, education and credentials. The salary range is 60-90k. Our client offers a company made contribution of 7.5% of salary to your 401k as well as traditional company health and medical benefits.
This is not a remote position. Excellent location in the Midwest. Relocation assistance will also be provided if needed to a candidate who needs to relocate.
