We are partnered with a leading National Third Party Administrator who has an exciting Senior Claims Opportunity for a dynamic Commercial AUTO & General Liability to serve a dynamic desk comprised of commercial trucking, bodily injury, litigation as part of a high performing Regional Claims Unit based remotely anywhere in the continental.
Ideal Candidate will be an experienced, Licensed General Liability Adjuster w/strong Litigation experience, multi state license HUGE PLUS handling NY and or HI Claims.
Job Qualifications
- 5+ General Liability related claim handling
- Experience MUST include commercial trucking, bodily injury, litigation
- Identify opportunity to transfer risk via proven ability to accurately interpret agreements .
- Strong experience and aptitude for customer client interaction
- Litigation, developing evaluations, and presenting cases
- Understanding coverage vs contracts
- Tendering Claims to other carriers
- Valid Adjuster Licensed preferably reciprocal state such as TX
- General Liability
- Premises Liability
- Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled.
- Proficient presentation, conducting virtual meetings various platforms
- Knowledge of all team member related functions.
- Customer Focused – experience working dedicated accounts is a plus.
Essential Job Function Overview
- Conducts or assigns full investigation and provides report of investigation pertaining to new events, claims and legal actions.
- Negotiates claim settlement up to designated authority level.
- Proactively manage, coordinating support for investigation, and reviewing attorney invoices; monitors counsel for compliance with client guidelines.
- Represents Company in depositions, mediations, and trial monitoring as needed.
- Notify Claim to Carrier(Excess) generate claims status reports
- Calculates and assigns timely and appropriate reserves to claims; monitors reserve adequacy throughout claim life.
- Analyzes and processes complex or technically difficult general liability claims by investigating and gathering information to determine the exposure on the claim;
