Business Development Manager (Midwest)

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to grow our Midwest territory! Your role will be seeking out new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. Our Midwest BDM will increase sales and contribute to our long-term business growth. If you are motivated, results-oriented, and believe that what we do matters, we’d like to meet you. Responsibilities
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
  • Present our company to potential clients
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate services
  • Customize service solutions to increase customer satisfaction
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospects and recruiting teams
  • Report to VP of Sales on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Assistant, or similar role in B2B sales
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls) preferred
  • Insurance industry OR recruiting/staffing sales experience preferred
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Bullhorn)
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Polished and professional appearance with ability to deliver engaging presentations
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating alongside other BDM’s
  • Relationship-oriented sales rep that enjoys building rapport with prospects and clients
