Qualifications

  • Proficient experience with Return-to-Work protocols and programs.
  • Proficient in Excel creating pivot tables and charts. Preferable if you have experience plotting and visualizing data in a business intelligence platform such as Tableau or Looker
  • Direct workers' compensation claims experience, including managing lost time, litigated claims, loss reserve analysis, and conducting claim reviews directly with policyholders and their agents.
  • Direct experience at an Insurtech company or MGA, Carrier, and/or TPA, Broker, Employers executing WC and return to work programs. 
  • Demonstrated successful ability to build positive relationships and partnerships within the department, across the organization, and with external customers.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with all levels of staff.
  • Demonstrated successful ability to build positive relationships and partnerships within the department, across the organization, and with external customers.
  • MUST BE Proficient in Excel creating pivot tables and charts. Preferably if you have experience plotting and visualizing data in a business intelligence platform such as Tableau or Looker.
  • Experience with PowerPoints and presentations.
  • Ideally, proficient with the Google Suite of business products.

Responsibilities
Tech Enabled Transitional Duty Program Oversight:

  • Manage transitional duty program offerings through the full lifecycle from initial injury to MMI.
  • Develop new workflows that improve transitional duty KPIs
  • Provide development teams with feedback & enhancements to improve the overall experience. 
  • Own FAQ / Transitional duty program utilization guides & related content.
  • Analyze data and report results to management.
  • Perform special projects as needed.

Claims Management:

  • Provide best in class customer experience supporting claims management.
  • Client onboarding – Claims & Transitional Duty Focus.
  • CARRIER portal training to include supporting CARRIER claims services.
  • Claims review scheduling and management for company’s policy holders.
  • On demand claims management consultation for company’s policy holders.
  • Transitional duty program development and deployment to company’s policy holders.
  • Assist in closing out medical only files and alleviate M/O's from transitioning to lost time or reserve increases.
