I went from the next great sportscaster and play by play man to sitting behind a desk and dialing for dollars! Now 25 Years later, I can safely say the best decision I’ve ever made. From coast to coast, my team and I match top notch insurance talent with the absolute best Insurance Carriers, Brokers, TPA’s and more. We are way more than headhunters. Questpro and the Q Companies are the one stop shop when it comes to looking for supreme talent of all levels.

When I am not playing KOAR (King of All Recruiters), I’m at home with my lovely wife, Lauren, and three sons, that continue to challenge me and keep me young: Parker, Owen, and Taylor. I’m also addicted and frustrated all at once by golf but love the game just as much as I love my family and team.

Johnny Park

Partner, President - Questpro Direct Hire

I’ve spent most of my working life at Questpro, starting in January 2000. I began as a Recruiting Coordinator, learning the ins and outs of recruiting and the insurance industry. In 2006, I started up our research department, growing it to where it’s an important piece of our recruiting process today. In 2013, I became a Partner, where I focused on recruiting C-level jobs and enhancing our client base. At the beginning of 2016, I was promoted to Chief Operating Officer, leading our direct hire team and overseeing all of our recruiting tools and systems companywide.

I was born in Farmington Hills, MI but was raised in Fort Worth, TX. Growing up I wanted to become a doctor. However, after realizing the amount of school I would have to go through along with the price tag involved, I went to college wondering where life would lead me.

After I graduated from Boston University in 1999 and spending a short time working for a mutual fund company in Boston, my heart brought me back to the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

I have 2 daughters, Callie who is 3 years old and Maddie who is 1 year old.

I found the “Golden Ticket” 19 years ago when I was hired by Questpro to grow its temporary division, QTemps. Never in my wildest imagination did I think I would be working for such an energetic, fun-loving company that I call family whilst being able to work for such a kind and caring CEO, Kevin Burch.

I spent the first part of my career knocking on doors around the insurance industry, creating awareness of our new temporary division, QTemps. In 2013, I became partner of QTemps, managing our recruiters and the entire division’s operations. Over the years, we grew, going from 20 temps to over 250, with close to $11 million in sales. Now, as President of QTemps, I continue to grow and manage the division.

I have been a consistent member of Questpro’s Presidents Club, Employee of the Year, and top Producer of the year. I was born and raised in Dallas, TX and recently married my 8th grade boyfriend (yes you read that right), Patrick, in September of 2020. I have two beautiful step-daughters, the sweetest sister anyone could ever have and two amazing nephews that I adore.

Jillanna Pomelow

Recognizing the market demand for quality recruitment services within the rapidly growing Cost Containment Arena, Jillanna was responsible for the ramp up of the Questpro Managed Care Division in 2004. Since 2003 Metroplex Association of Personnel Consultants (MAPC) has named her one of the top industry recruiters: top 8 in 2008, 2009, 2010 & top 5 in 2011. Questpro Company awards include: Presidents’ Club Member & Top 3 Producer for the past nine consecutive years, including being named “Employee of the Year” in 2005 & 2012. She attributes success to her attention to providing results driven service to clients by continuously delivering high demand “A” players within the P&C Insurance and HealthCare disciplines of Claims/Workers’ Compensation, Sales/Account Management, IT, and Legal. Jillanna holds a Bachelors degree in Business Communications from Baylor University “Sic ‘Em Bears” and a Masters in Human Resources from Dallas Baptist University. Additionally, Jillanna loves spending time with family/friends especially her two busy little boys. As Board Secretary, she is also an active member of her son’s BSE PTA. Other interests include running, dance and travel.

I have the best job in the world at Questpro leading our sales and marketing team and collaborating with hiring managers, HR leaders, and executives nationwide to develop and grow their teams. My background in recruitment gives me insight into what clients need in a staffing partner and how to find the right talent at the right time.

After graduating from the University of Kansas, I worked for a global retail broker on national accounts before joining the HR team in a talent acquisition role. There, I worked with Questpro recruiters and witnessed their dedication firsthand. When Questpro’s CEO Kevin Burch offered me an opportunity to build the QGrads division, I jumped at the chance.

Today, I work with our internal recruiters to strategize client support and collaborate with industry leaders to solve hiring challenges. I’ve spoken at conferences nationwide and was recognized as a Rising Star in Insurance (2021) and an APCIA Emerging Leader (2020). I’m proud to serve as an Associate Board Member for the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation and as a Strategic Planning Committee Member with RISE Professionals.

When I’m not on the road representing Questpro, I enjoy traveling with my husband Nathan and our son Thatcher. I’m a sixth-generation Texan, and though I love exploring new places, my favorite place is here in Dallas with my family. My goals include earning a sommelier certification, becoming fluent in French, and driving Questpro’s growth across the country. After spending the last 13 years at Adecco Staffing, I decided it was time for a change, and I was lucky to find my new role at Questpro. From day one in the business I have focused on working with top rated Life Insurance and Life Reinsurance companies across the country. Today I still work specifically with the Life Insurance industry and work most every type of position primarily at the mid-career level and up to Executive. Types of positions that my team and I work on include: Accounting/Finance, Actuarial, Claims, Data Science/Modeling, Investment/Asset Management, Legal/Compliance, Medical Director, New Business, Operations/Process Improvement, Project Management, Sales/Distribution, Underwriting, Wholesalers and Executive level positions from VP to CEO.

I was born and raised in the Dallas, TX area, and I have lived in Allen, TX for the last 15+ years. I am a proud “LumberJack” graduating from Stephen F Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX. I have been married to the same beautiful woman for 25 years and have 2 sons who are 23 and 18 years old. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my wife, going to concerts, singing a little karaoke, and of course going to the movies of playing darts with my boys. I am an avid tennis player (4.5 level) and a tennis nerd.

In 2004, I returned to Dallas from Austin after a couple so-so years at the University of Texas in need of both funds and direction. For three years I sought a new path, working at a sign shop, CPA’s office, and full-commission sales while taking night classes and attempting to get some sleeping.

In 2007, through the great fortune of an old friend’s referral, I met Kevin Burch and a tribe of people who spoke my language, were doing something I knew how to do (sell), in an industry I happened to know a little bit about (insurance). What was cloudy became perfectly clear. Sourcing in a bullpen turned into clients, clients turned into sales, sales turned into referral business and RFP’s, and suddenly, I had something of a career going.

In 2013, I opted to go remote and somewhat ironically moved right back to Austin. My recruiting focus, network and responsibilities have evolved over time, but simply said, what I do best is help solve talent problems, which in insurance means helping incumbents dominate, new entrants grow, insurtechs disrupt, and fellow industry service providers deliver value.

Given the investment and attention insurance is receiving, what I love most about insurance recruiting is that nobody knows what any of this will look like in 5-10 years, and I get to help people mitigate that risk in their career.

When I am not busy recruiting or chasing around my family, you can usually find me running or cycling around Austin’s beautiful landscape, golfing at one of it’s historic municipal courses, or patronizing a local brewery.

Although I claim to be a native Texan, I was actually born in OK and moved to Dallas when I was 6. My dad nick-named me his “Okie from Muskogee” after a Merle Haggard song. To this day, I am still not sure why.

After graduating from Texas Tech University in 2006 in degree in Communications (after changing my major 3 times), I came back to Dallas, like many others after college, wondering what was next. My gift of gab and desire to know everything about everyone (my friends have a saying about me, “everywhere she goes there is not a stranger she does not know”), led me staffing with Questpro in 2010.

I love recruiting insurance professionals and have learned so much about the industry and the people the last 10 years. I have placed account managers, risk and claims professionals and much more. My priority is making sure I understands my clients’ needs, so they have the best experience while working with Questpro and receive top talent for their team.

Outside of work, I’m an active member of DCA, RIMS and IIAD, and I love attending networking events. Since I’ve started with Questpro, I’ve gotten engaged, married, and I’m now a proud mother to my crazy outgoing son, Otto! I couldn’t have asked for a better support system through it all!

My passion and success as an insurance recruiter can be traced back to my days working as an insurance claims examiner. What can I say – I love the insurance industry, and I can’t quit it!

I’ve been with Questpro since 2011 on the QTemps team as a Senior Recruiter and Client Manager. My focus is with both temp and temp-to-hire positions for claims professionals, underwriting support, account managers, customer service representatives and administrative staff. During my ten years with the company, I’ve received the following recognitions: Presidents’ Club Member, 2015 Employee of the Year, and 2020 Producer of the Year. My goal is to provide superior service to both our clients and candidates.

I’m a new dad (at least if my 6-year-old chihuahua doesn’t count), so I spend most of my free time these days staring lovingly at my baby girl and trying to help my spouse take care of her. When not doing that, I play the drums and piano (check me out at theslowrain.bandcamp.com), reading boring history and philosophy books, and I love horror fiction as well. I also watch too much TV and care way too much about the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and college football.

I love my Questpro family and have been specializing in the Life space for over 2 years. The biggest thrill I get here is learning about innovation and change in the insurance industry and helping candidates get to work for companies that are pushing the envelope in the world of InsurTech! Based in the Philippines, I’ve spent much of that time working with U.S.-based companies, primarily supporting staffing firms in their talent acquisition efforts. Human resources and recruitment aren’t just my profession—they’re my passion.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me in the ocean, surfing whenever the waves allow. And when the surf’s flat, I’m in the kitchen, baking treats for my kids.

I joined the Questpro and QTemps team in October 2019. I have fond memories of developing my early career in the temporary agency environment, so finding this opportunity felt like I was being called home! I am thrilled to bring my payroll, HR, accounting, benefits and billing experience to the Controller role to support the amazing Questpro team. My hobbies include reading, writing, traveling, yoga, and being outdoors. I love spending time with my husband, Brad, and our cats, Josey, Luna and Bubbles.
