Commissions Specialist (Insurance Brokerage Agency)
Questpro is working with a growing Insurance Brokerage Agency with more than 20 years in business (Based in Dallas). We are currently looking for candidates interested in this role. Experience with Life Insurance is a plus but not required. This position will report to the VP of Operations.
In this role you will have responsibility for ensuring the calculations, processing, and reporting of commissions for sales agents are accurate and on time based on the approved commission schedules.
Job responsibilities include:
– Ability to work with multiple carrier websites to download commission statements
– Using Excel spreadsheets to stay up to date with carrier details and information
– Understand what forms and info are needed for agent commissions
– Resolve errors or issues with regard to commission payouts
– Keep commission data up to date in company systems
– Customer service for Agents
– Generate reports for tracking purposes for senior management
– Work with sr leaders on special projects as assigned
Requirements include:
– 2+years experience working in similar role (Analyst, Specialist, etc.)
– Experience with Life Insurance or Annuities is a plus
– Strong communication skills
– Excellent relationship builder
– Problem solver and process improver
– Experience using Microsoft and Excel is needed
– Ability to use Insurance related platforms and systems
