Sales Training & Product Manager

This important position reports to the VP of Sales and will have responsibility for all sales and product training initiatives, competitive analysis, sales concepts, agent training programs and field facing training initiatives. You will also provide support for new product development…helping with process, strategy, planning and documentation. So we are looking for someone who likes to handle multiple priorities in various aspects of the business like Operations, Technology, Sales and Marketing and new product planning and launch. The products are Annuity and Life Insurance.

Responsibilities include:
– Create sales training processes and scripts and how to position and sell against the competition
– Contiuously update and train internal and external sales teams on product and positioning
– Develop training decks, webinars and sales concept tools with marketing
– Help lead new product development and launch activities
– Develop tactical launch plans in partnership with operations
– Oversee product updates, including rate change process
– Initiate a corporate “Training Academy” with curriculum for agent training
– Assist in the development of Due Diligence programs and workshops
– Personally deliver training presentations at key NMO meetings
– Develop and maintain competitive analysis data and processes
– Identify strengths and weaknesses of products vs top competitors

Requirements include:
– Deep understanding of Life Insurance and Annuity products
– Prior life insurance or annuity sales/marketing experience
– 5 plus years direct experience in similar role
– Bachelor’s degree preferred
– CFP, CLU, ChFC highly desired
– Strong organizational skills
– Good interpersonal & communication skills
– Ability to multi-task and adapt to change
– Strong analytic skills including advanced use of Excel, PowerPoint
– Understanding of business environment and industry trends
– Ability to develop sales presentations, position statements, sales concepts
– Proven presentation skills

This is a full-time permanent position and will be based on site in Texas
