Account Executive – Job Opening
Industry: Insurance (Voluntary/Ancillary Lines)
We are currently working with a growing Insurance client looking to hire an experienced Account Executive to work in their growing Ancillary/Voluntary product division. The Account Executive plays a very important role in terms of maintaining and growing new and existing accounts and proving Sales with all necessary support. We are looking for a proactive and ambitious person who will manage and foster relationships key business partners in the Ancillary product world. As an Account Executive you will be the primary contact and will work directly with internal and external business partners.
Required Experience includes:
– 4-5+ years experience in a similar Account Executive/Account Manager role
– Demonstrated experience with Large or Jumbo groups
– Proven experience with Ancillary lines products (Life, Disability, Dental, Vision, CI, Cancer, etc.)
– Experience in a role supporting the sales team (RFP’s for new business, Renewals, etc.)
– Experience with All types of related Analysis (Loss Ratio, Participation, Gap, etc.)
– Experience with Policy Reviews, Benchmarking and Forecasting
– Experienced user of Excel and PowerPoint (Pivot Tables and V Lookups expected)
– Experience with electronic filing, compliance and documentation
– Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with multiple business partners such as Brokers, Carriers, Consultants, TPA’s and Reinsurance
– Experience working for a Broker or a General Agency is a plus
– General knowledge of multiple carriers specific to – Voluntary/Ancillary lines
– Someone who can help to improve process and efficiency
– Strong Client Service mindset (any client facing experience is a plus)
– Ability to do some light travel (10-20%)
– Willing to obtain Life and Health license within 90 days (if not already licensed)
This position can be based on 1 of 3 cities, Dallas, Houston or Phoenix. This is not a fully remote position, but can be hybrid after 6 months (2 days remote)
