Growing National Managed Care Service Provider is expanding their IME Operations Team!
Title: IME | Scheduling Manager | Workers Compensation
Compensation: commensurate on experience and specialty
Position: 100% Remote
Location Preference: Southeast | Midwest
MUST HAVE DIRECT IME Scheduling experience working under 1 or all 3 lines of business. Workers' Compensation | Liability | Disability
Position Overview
The IME Scheduling Manager is responsible for overseeing the handling and coordinating all functions of the IME following intake until QA. This is a non-clinical position, and the IME Scheduling Manager is not responsible for quality assurance review or summarization of the physician’s IME report.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee the review of injury and claim information to select the appropriate physician for the exam or record review.
- Oversee and schedule exams and notify all pertinent parties.
- Provides customer service functions including but not limited to:
- Frequent updates to clients
- Courtesy calls/Reminder calls
- Assist with other ancillary services such as scheduling of transportation/interpretation as needed.
- Enforce best practices for the scheduling team and adhere to turn around time expectations for the team.
- Adhere to all deadlines and state statutes.
- Assists in promoting and furthering the objectives of the IME Division.
- Maintains confidentiality and security in all aspects of performance.
- Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience
- 3+ years of customer service experience.
- 5+ years of IME scheduling experience.
- Healthcare or medical administrative experience preferred.
Skills/Knowledge
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Computer knowledge required, including Microsoft Office products.
