Our client, an international loss adjusting firm, is looking for an Insurance Adjuster with a specialty in the renewable energy sector to join their team. This position involves a strategic focus on developing and managing claims related to renewable energy projects in the US, as well as expanding our commercial lines claims services across Texas.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the handling and resolution of claims related to renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and other emerging technologies.
- Actively contribute to the growth and development of our renewable energy claims division. This includes staying abreast of industry trends, participating in relevant conferences, and building a network of contacts within the renewable energy sector.
- Oversee the expansion of our commercial lines claims services throughout Texas. Develop strategies to penetrate different markets, manage a diverse range of commercial claims, and establish our firm as a leader in commercial claims handling in the region.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, insurers, brokers and risk managers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as an Insurance Adjuster, commercial lines, property, and casualty, with a strong focus on renewable energy claims. Minimum 5 years of independent adjusting.
- Deep understanding of the renewable energy sector, including technical knowledge of various types of renewable energy systems.
- Texas independent adjuster license.
- Negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
