Life Insurance Underwriters – Multiple Job Openings – Remote!
Questpro, a national recruiting firm with a 25+ year track record of success working with the Insurance industry, is working with one of the pre-eminent Life Insurance carriers to help find experienced Individual Life Underwriters for multiple openings at 2 levels.
** These positions are Full Time REMOTE **
In order to be considered you MUST have a minimum of 3 years of full production (Home Office) (Individual) Life Underwriting experience. (Mortgage Underwriters will not meet the qualifications).
We are looking for Senior Life Underwriters AND Life Underwriting Consultants. You will need to have a minimum 3 years’ experience and a 1Million approval for Senior and 5+ years’ experience and 3MM limit for Consultant. Our client has “be the best in business” mentality and looking for like minded people.
You will review, assess and fully underwrite applications for Individual Life Insurance to assess mortality and morbidity risk within company guidelines You will approve, classify and/or decline applications on your own signature using state of the art systems and technology to assist in your decisions. These are Individual Life Insurance products – both Term and Permanent. Captive or Brokerage distribution are both good. We are looking for underwriters who are comfortable working directly with the field, and who have a strong customer focus. We need underwriters who can adapt to new systems, technology, automation, etc.
Education: Bachelor’s degree is preferred but is not a requirement. Strong preference for candidates who have completed the FLMI, AALU or FALU certifications (or in progress). Previous remote experience is also a plus. Strong communication skills are a must.
Compensation: These are full-time positions offering salary, annual bonus and very generous benefits packages. Base pay will vary depending on actual Life Underwriting experience, education and industry credentials. The range for base salary will go from 75-125k plus bonus.
