Sr Vice President Marketing Operations (Life Insurance)

 
Questpro, the leading National Insurance specific staffing firm, is currently searching for a Sr Vice President Marketing to fill the role with one of our best Life Insurance Carrier clients. This is a traditional home office corporate Marketing and Operations leadership role reporting to the President. This role will be in line to move to the CMO spot potentially in 2 years with demonstrated success in the SVP role.     

Reporting to the CMO, the SVP Marketing will be responsible for overall Sales and Marketing Operations and will have a laser focus on driving and managing strategic marketing initiatives from formation to delivery. We need someone who can and will take ownership and accountability as a member of the Senior Leadership team. We will look to you to develop strategic plans and road maps, establish KPI’s and key objectives, implementing policies and procedures, create budgets and reporting. You will also be the face of the business to the community and distribution network. 
 
Responsibilities include:
• Direct and oversee Marketing operations for all divisions (Life & Heath carrier)
• Establish goals & objectives for driving growth and company value proposition
• Establish a culture of accountability for delivering best in class products/services
• Take ownership and drive strategic initiatives to delivery
• Ensure training and that team skill sets are up to date 
• Develop and implement strategic plans and overall Marketing strategy
• Determine KPIs for the marketing department
• Reporting and tracking to Executive leaders
• Work closely with sales and distribution leaders 
• Present the annual marketing plan and strategy to executive leaders
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives 
• Identify and implement new technology as needed
• Attend industry conferences and events
• Regular interaction, reporting to the Board of Directors
• Budget development and control
• Compliance oversight

Requirements include:
• 15-20 years’ experience in corporate marketing (Life Insurance preferred)
• Proven team management experience (including other managers)
• Strategic thinker with a customer focused approach (internal/external)  
• Experience with companies at the 1BB and up valuation
• Proven experience leading transformation initiatives
• Proven team builder, creator. Putting the right people in the right place
• Comfortable with CRM and SEO tools/software 
• Strong ability to use data and analytics for decision making 
• Strong collaborator and project management skills 
• Demonstrated presentation skills 
• Any international experience is a plus
• Bachelors in Marketing or similar, advanced degree a plus
• Additional marketing certifications are a plus
• (Ability to speak Spanish is a plus)

This is a full-time permanent position offering excellent base pay and bonus, medical and retirement benefits, vacation/PTO and great work life balance.

Ideally, we want this person to be local and on site daily/weekly, but we may consider remote if needed. Location is Texas. Full relocation assistance will be offered.
