Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced insurance professional to join our team as an Agency Manager. The ideal candidate will initially focus on providing support and leadership in key operational areas with the opportunity to transition into a full management role. This position is perfect for someone who is ready to step into a leadership position and help drive the agency forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to a small, established team while maintaining high service standards
  • Oversee accounting operations and financial management for the agency
  • Maintain existing client relationships and ensure client satisfaction
  • Lead regular team meetings and performance evaluations
  • Implement accountability systems and metrics to drive team performance
  • Support hiring and team development initiatives as the agency grows
  • Work collaboratively with our business coach during transition period
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the agency

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in the insurance industry with knowledge of both Personal and Commercial Lines
  • Leadership experience or demonstrated leadership capabilities
  • Strong understanding of agency accounting and operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with established team members and navigate challenging personalities
  • Self-motivated with a positive, solution-oriented attitude
  • Insurance licenses appropriate to your state (Property & Casualty required)
  • Experience with insurance agency management systems
