A++ rated carrier iin Plano, TX s seeking an auto claims adjuster who will handle rental car and ride share claims. This person will be responsible for screening and thoroughly investigating multi-line/multi-state commercial automobile losses to determine liability, identify coverage exposures, and negotiate settlements. He/she will handle a pending of commercial automobile claims that will involve; Collision, Other Than Collision, Uninsured Motorist Property Damage, Med-Pay, Bodily Injury and Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist.
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 3 years of automobile claims handling experience

Experience in handling Rental Car claims and/or Ride Share claims

Bodily Injury experience preferred

College degree strongly preferred

Knowledge of commercial auto policy and coverage (preferred)

Knowledge of tort law in various jurisdictions and motor vehicle law (preferred)

Ability to negotiate claim settlements in a timely and reasonable fashion

Strong oral and written communication skills

Works independently under general supervision. Work is reviewed for overall adequacy and accuracy
- Makes decisions related to wide variety of situations within management limits
This is a hybrid role, in the office Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
