Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist – Louisiana

We're searching for a talented Louisiana Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist to join our client's dynamic team! In this role, you'll manage indemnity claims for our Trust Fund and TPA clients from start to finish – investigating, evaluating, reserving, negotiating, and bringing claims to successful closure.
What You'll Do:
- Guide clients through the entire claims process with a personal touch
- Connect quickly with policyholders, claimants, and witnesses to create action plans
- Determine coverage, assess liability, and evaluate damages
- Develop smart file strategies while keeping everything properly documented
- Ensure timely benefit payments and appropriate medical treatment
- Identify opportunities for subrogation and manage liability exposures
- Negotiate settlements that work for everyone involved
What You'll Need:
- 3+ years of workers' compensation claims experience
- Louisiana jurisdictional knowledge and adjuster license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication abilities – you'll be talking with everyone from claimants to lawyers to medical professionals
- A customer-first mindset and exceptional problem-solving skills
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently
