Position Overview
Join our growing independent insurance agency in Mansfield, Texas as a Commercial Account Manager. We're a tight-knit team managing $10M in premium with $1M in revenue, looking for an experienced commercial insurance professional who understands the renewal process inside and out. This is a comprehensive role handling everything from A to Z in account management – renewals, client service, new business development, and relationship management. The ideal candidate has solid commercial insurance experience and thrives in client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage renewal process from start to finish
- Handle policy changes, endorsements, certificates, and day-to-day account servicing
- Manage a book of commercial accounts, primarily contractors and professional liability clients
- Serve as primary point of contact for all client needs and inquiries
- Work closely with carriers on underwriting, claims, and renewal negotiations
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining strong client relationships
Experience & Industry Knowledge
- Minimum 3-5 years of commercial insurance experience with strong renewal process knowledge
- Hands-on experience with commercial renewals, marketing, and carrier relationships
- Understanding of commercial insurance products, coverages, underwriting, and markets
- Experience with contractor insurance and/or professional liability preferred

- Base salary: $75,000 – $90,000 annually
