External Wholesaler (BGA) – Life Insurance
This role can be remote
We are excited to be working with a well-established Brokerage General Agency (BGA) with a focus on Life Insurance and living benefits who is looking to hire an experienced External Wholesaler. This role will have a strong focus on working with the Retail Producers (Independent agents, Financial Advisors, RIA’s, P&C Agencies, etc.). Our client is looking to continue growing and expanding and needs someone who would like to be a part of this growth plan. Having an existing rolodex of active Life Insurance producers is a primary key to success in this role. This role can be remote (prefer CST, EST or MT). Scope is national, no set region or territory to deal with.
The top skills we are searching for are:
– Current experience in a similar role, working for a BGA in Sales as a Wholesaler
– Experience (recruiting) Life Insurance Agents and Financial Advisors
– Experience running (illustrations and product recommendations)
– Ability to develop and (nurture relationships with Agents and Advisors)
– (Individual Life Insurance) product knowledge
– Proven ability to help Agents and Advisors to write more business
Our client offers access to all major carriers, best in class new business, underwriting and operations support, and an on-staff estate planning attorney for HNW and complex business opportunities.
Our ideal candidate will have an established network of Life Insurance Agents and Financial Advisors to tap into in order to hit the ground running. Our client is also specifically looking for someone who has experience working for a Broker and who has experience in a multi-carrier environment to understand the nuances of the different carriers based on product, age, impairments, etc.

Our client is offering an excellent compensation plan that consists of a guaranteed (draw) plus industry leading variable compensation/payout with monthly payments.
