Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Underwriting Technician to support our Property and Casualty Underwriting team. This entry-level role involves reviewing insurance applications, gathering documentation, entering data, and assisting underwriters with risk assessment and policy processing. The ideal candidate is dependable, learns quickly, and has strong administrative skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist underwriters with data entry and policy documentation

Review and organize insurance applications and supporting materials

Communicate with agents/brokers to obtain missing information

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in underwriting systems

Perform other administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Basic understanding of insurance terminology a plus

Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with data entry
