The Litigation Associate will support the firm’s IP litigation practice group by managing a variety of legal tasks related to intellectual property disputes. While a technical background is not required, candidates should possess a solid foundation in general litigation and demonstrate strong legal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle complex matters independently.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Draft and review legal motions, pleadings, and briefs for IP disputes

Handle discovery requests, including drafting and responding to document requests, interrogatories, and depositions

Assist with trademark oppositions, cancellations, and related proceedings before the USPTO and other forums

Conduct legal research and prepare memos on non-patent intellectual property issues

Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

Assist attorneys with trial preparation and case review as needed
Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

2–4 years of general litigation experience

Strong analytical and writing skills
-
Ability to handle multiple matters efficiently and independently

Competent in legal research and document management
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be licensed in OHIO
